Onet, new sponsor of the World Conservation of Nature Congress, continues its commitment to preserving the planet
Onet is joining forces with the French Ministry of Ecological Transition by becoming a sponsor of the IUCN World Conservation Congress, which will take place in Marseille from 3 to 11 September 2021 at the Parc Chanot.
This major international event will influence the 15th Conference of the Parties of the Convention for Biological Diversity. The COP 15 biodiversity must define the global framework to stop the loss of biodiversity.
This Congress is crucial, because if the actors involved show that there are real means of action, they will create the conditions for an ambitious agreement.
Onet committed and mobilized
As a sponsor of the event, Onet is a member of the Partners and Sponsors Club of the Ministry of Ecological Transition. This club brings together people from all walks of life (local authorities, associations, companies, media, etc.) who are committed to the preservation of nature and who are working alongside the Ministry to contribute to the success of the Congress.
Since 2003, through its CSR policy “A Present for a Future”, Onet has been working to reduce its ecological footprint. This new commitment demonstrates our conviction that companies have an essential and necessary role to play in reducing their impact on mankind and the environment.
Our CSR experts will also be present to present the various solutions and projects implemented to preserve biodiversity, in particular during the round table: “From science to action: innovative solutions to fight against plastic pollution in the oceans” on September 7 at 9:00 am.
