As part of the development of our Technical Department and our expertise in pressure equipment (ESP), we are recruiting a Design Engineer F/H, to provide technical and regulatory follow-up for activities carried out in-house (design, regulations, Project) or for subcontracted activities (design, supply, manufacturing).
You will be required, for the needs of ESP projects and according to the scope entrusted to you, to :
- Produce generic project documents (compliance matrix, PMQP, planning, performance, organization notes, etc.).)
- Participate in progress and coordination meetings
- Prepare technical files (design, choice of materials and manufacturing) submitted for assessment
- Prepare monitoring documents for subcontracted manufacturing activities and monitor identified operations in the workshop
- Contribute to the preparation of responses to the authorities (ASN and Authorized Bodies)
- Contribute to strengthening the quality culture within the project (with the support of the technical management quality manager)
- Raise awareness and provide support to ESP project staff on regulatory requirements
- Validate experience feedback sheets.
You will interface internally with the technical professions responsible for the various mechanical equipment and the project teams, and externally with the customer and subcontractors.
Trained as a general engineer or university equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the nuclear industry working on ESPs and/or piping :
- Good knowledge of regulations (DESP/ ESPN, AREX)
- Knowledge of pressure equipment codes and standards (RCC-M, RSE-M, ASME, EN 13445, NF EN 13480 etc.).
- Knowledge of PWR and EPR plant equipment desirable
- level of English reading, writing and speaking
You have the ability to interface with multidisciplinary teams (project managers, technical architects, calculation engineers, welding engineers, metallurgists, etc.).
You are methodical and rigorous, with a good ability to summarize and recognized writing skills.
