We are currently recruiting for our Brest office an Agri-food Site Manager in the South Finistère region.
Agri-food site manager F/H
Position to be filled on 01/06/2024
As part of your duties, you will be required to carry out the following tasks:
Framing :
- Supervise maintenance workers and set an example,
- Listening to staff to anticipate malfunctions and their solutions,
- Ensure that maintenance workers are trained, authorized and capable of carrying out the work.
- Ensure that safety instructions, procedures, work instructions and operating methods are followed, and that PPE is used.
- Participate in recruitment campaigns
- Welcoming new recruits and training them through apprenticeships
Site monitoring :
- Technical and administrative management of the site
- Supervise work, monitor progress and ensure completion
- Check compliance with specifications
- Monitor application of the prevention plan
- Ensure site security during and outside working hours
- Ensure that waste is properly sorted and disposed of
- Ensure compliance with QHSE health and safety procedures defined by management
Customer relations :
- Provide a permanent customer interface, answering customer questions or redirecting the customer to the Area Manager
Equipment management and maintenance:
- Manage product, equipment and PPE inventories and distribution
- Ensure that the materials and equipment used are in good working order and that periodic inspections have been carried out.
Position available on permanent contract
Cleaning in the food industry is a key and indispensable step, and takes place upstream of the production chain. As a cleaning agent, you play an important role in reducing, or even eliminating, the micro-organisms present in a medium, in order to avoid contamination or infection in the production environment. You therefore play a very important role in food safety, ensuring that consumers receive products that are safe for their health.
You ensure a clean and healthy environment for the occupants of the premises. Through your work, you contribute to our customer's satisfaction.
If you're motivated and hard-working, you're already well qualified for this position. Your discretion will also be highly appreciated. A CAP and/or Bac Pro in hygiene/cleaning or equivalent as well as initial experience in a similar position are welcome, but all profiles are considered. Driving license required.
