Our activities are grouped into 3 main business lines: reactor design, maintenance and modification; dismantling, decontamination and nuclear waste treatment; operator services and training.

Through its site assistance services (radiation protection, regulatory controls, nuclear logistics, etc.), the Operations and Training Division contributes to the success of EDF's industrial programs aimed at safely producing low-carbon energy.

We are recruiting for the BLAYE site :

Site Safety Manager

Here are the challenges we propose to meet together:

Reporting to the site manager, you will represent the 1st stage in developing a safety culture among all those involved, from the preparation to the execution of operations.

To do this, you validate the preparation of work files and worksites from a safety point of view, and authorize their completion,
In the field, you check that the countermeasures actually implemented correspond to those specified in the ADR, with the right to interrupt the work.
You recommend preliminary training and awareness actions
You contribute to and increase the presence of management in the field for each service.
You will strengthen the support of requirements and safety management by site management and simplify safety action plans.
You support management in maintaining all employees in employment.

Your assets

Ideally with a 3-year higher education qualification in "QSE", "industrial risk management" or from the PGAC sector, you have a good knowledge of nuclear installations and associated regulations.

Recognized for your interpersonal skills and natural authority, you would like to invest yourself in a position where rigor and teamwork are essential assets to evolve in a demanding industrial environment.

You are naturally attracted to working in the field and being in constant contact with operational staff.

Position based locally at the Blaye site

This position is subject to administrative investigation.

Full-time permanent contract
