The Radiation Protection Technician ensures the safety of the site and employees in the field.
Based as close as possible to the CEA's VALDUC facilities and attached to the Radiation Protection Department, your tasks will be as follows:
1) Risk management in all areas: radiation protection, safety
- Safety and radiation protection on all sites.
- Communication at meetings on the application of various measures to ensure personnel safety on site.
- Remind participants of site rules and developments in radiation protection.
- Implementation of corrective actions following non-compliance with rules.
- Produce radiological maps (contamination/irradiation).
2) Use of specific equipment
- Carry out measurements to define the risks that may be present in the various work areas.
- Verification and compliance of measuring equipment.
- Installation of site monitoring equipment
- Daily checks of measurements in work areas
- Monitoring of the proper operation of equipment already present in the work area.
Ideally, with a BAC to BAC+2 specialized in radiation protection or PNR training and/or initial experience in a similar position.
