Prescillia Lézé

Prescillia Lézé is much more than an exceptional athlete. Her career has been marked by determination and inspiring inner strength.

At the age of 8, she faced bullying at school that triggered Stargardt syndrome, leading to progressive sight loss. However, instead of letting this ordeal define her, she transformed this adversity into a catalyst for determination and courage.

She drew incredible energy from this situation, propelling her to fight as much in her daily life as on the tatamis. Her passion for judo has led her to fight in both able-bodied and para-judo categories, demonstrating her versatility and adaptability.

Her career in para-judo has been marked by a series of successes. Between 2018 and 2022, Prescillia Lézé won the title of French Para-Judo champion over 70 kg for four consecutive years. Her perseverance also led her to win a silver medal at the European Championships in 2022, illustrating her high level on the international stage. Her determination also led her to place 5th at the world championships the same year, proving her consistency in this demanding sport.
