As an Operational Performance Manager intern, you will report to the Operational Performance Manager at our office in Roissy-En-France and provide support across the entire region.
You will travel throughout the entireIle-de-France region. A company vehicle is provided for work-related travel associated with the position.
You will contribute tothe continuous improvement and transformation of on-site logistics operations, working closely with operational teams, site managers, and support teams.
Your main responsibilities:
Operational Performance Support:
- Assist the Operational Performance Manager with regional performance-related projects.
- Help collect and analyze operational data to populate regional dashboards and KPIs.
- Support the creation and updating of performance monitoring tools (dashboards, charts, reports).
Deployment and monitoring of tools:
- Assist with the rollout of planning, digitization, and management tools at sites throughout the region.
- Monitor the progress of action plans and ensure reporting on activities related to these tools.
- Support Site Managers (SMs) in their operational reporting tasks.
Continuous improvement and standardization:
- Help identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes.
- Assist in drafting or updating standard operating procedures and work instructions in collaboration with the Operational Performance Manager
- Contribute to ad hoc continuous improvement projects (5S, logistics organization).
Analysis and reporting:
- Produce simple and relevant reports for monitoring performance indicators.
- Monitor corrective actions and track KPIs under supervision.
- Help facilitate and prepare operational follow-up meetings.
You will have a 35-hour-per-week contract and will work daytime hours, Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a lunch break. – These hours may change depending on the needs of the sites.
A student in a four- or five-year degree program inlogistics, industrial performance, or an equivalent field
You are proficientinExcel andcontinuous improvement tools: 5S, Kaizen, KPI management and analysis, and problem-solving methodologies such as 5P, QQOQCP, and Ishikawa.
You have experience in project management and leading cross-functional workgroups.
You know how to analyze data and produce clear summaries.
Basic programming skills, particularly in Python, for data analysis and optimization are a plus.
A specialization in operational excellence or project management is a plus.
You are thorough, organized, and curious about operational processes.
You are a good team player and able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
