Your mission

To strengthen our teams at the Onet Group headquarters in Marseille, we are recruiting a :

 

Welding Methods Technician F/H

 

Reporting to the Technical Production Unit of the Technical Department, you will be involved in the development and industrialization of welding processes and associated tooling deployed for our interventions on CNPE sites.

 

Working closely with welding engineers, technical architects and business referents, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Draw up or check welding documentation in compliance with regulatory and codified contractual requirements

- Prepare and participate in the development of manual and automated welding procedures and associated tooling (research welding parameters, define welding sequences and trajectories, etc.) in support of the welding engineer.

- Supervise the welder's proper execution of test coupons and take all parameter readings, as well as any other technical work entrusted to you.

- Preparing for and taking part in QMOS tests

- Organize and/or participate in test debriefings and associated technical reports

- Contribute to the design and development of welding tools and related techniques (machining / heat treatment, etc.).

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and associated resources

- Participate in training operational teams in the use of the processes and tools developed.

- Ensure the supply and management of consumables for your development and qualification activities.

 

You will be required to travel occasionally for the first deployments of developed tools, and to assist the operational teams. The rest of the work will be carried out in our workshop in Marseille.

Your assets

You are recognized for your rigor, your methodology and your dexterity. You are open-minded and curious. You enjoy working as part of a team. You are willing to travel occasionally (to our subcontractors/suppliers and on site - 0% to 20% of the time).

 

Graduated from a Bac+2/+3, such as BTS CRCI, DUT génie mécanique et productique or Licence Pro soudage/EAPS, you have at least 3 years experience in a similar position.

 

You have IWT certification and technical knowledge of :

- Theory and practice of arc welding processes (TIG and coated electrode)

- Parameter development for orbital TIG welding

- Regulations (PED, ESPN), RCC-M and RSE-M codes and standards commonly used in welding (NF EN 1561 etc.)

- Development of manual or automatic welding procedures

- Computer tools (Pack Office).

 

This position may be subject to an administrative investigation.
