Deconfinement: Onet supports the reopening of Décathlon Group stores in French-speaking Switzerland
The reopening of the Décathlon Group's sales outlets on May 11 was a major step towards guaranteeing a high level of safety for employees and customers alike.
Onet teams were mobilized to provide disinfection services in line with strict protocols.

ONET & DÉCATHLON a partnership built on trust
Since setting up shop in French-speaking Switzerland in 2018, the Decathlon Group has relied on Onet Suisse to provide daily cleaning services for its stores in the region. So it was only natural that Onet's teams should help the leading sporting goods retailer to implement appropriate protocols for the reopening of its outlets.
Store reopening: a logistical and health challenge
The reopening of Decathlon stores in French-speaking Switzerland had to comply with safety and distance regulations. Onet teams put all their expertise into drawing up a new set of specifications. As a result, new services were added and existing ones reinforced:
- In-store working hours
Teams will work an extra 3 hours a day before each store opens from Monday to Saturday.
- Specific disinfection
All points of contact: checkouts, reception, changing rooms, public toilets, as well as areas reserved for staff: showers, break rooms, open spaces and meeting rooms will be disinfected with specific products on a regular basis.
- Provision of hydroalcoholic gels
Stand-mounted dispensers have been installed at the entrance to each store, and bottles of disinfectant gels and wipes are also available at the checkouts.
#TÉMOIGNAGE
"It's always easier to prevent a crisis when it's anticipated well in advance. That's why we were able to prepare our business continuity plan with our partner Décathlon several days in advance. The brand was able to remain attentive by drawing on Onet Suisse's expertise in sanitary matters. Thanks to a perfect collaboration, we were able to prepare the opening of the stores by guaranteeing that the cleaning protocols were properly understood, and the delivery of hydro-alcoholic gel and disinfection products at a time of shortage in Switzerland. We were able to "act as quickly as possible, but as slowly as necessary" to ensure appropriate sanitary measures.
