Medical evacuations: Onet Accueil provides one of its forklift vehicles

The Onet Accueil Provence agency, equipped with forklift vehicles for PHMR, is mobilizing to help the Istres military base with medical evacuations.

Mobilization at every level

The coronavirus first appeared in China in December, and has since spread around the world, hitting France with full force. The French President has described the country as going through its "most serious health crisis" in a century.
The whole country is mobilizing to deal with this virus. Onet employees too.

An adapted vehicle for coronavirus patients

Onet Accueil Provence provided the Istres military base with one of these forklift vehicles.
Normally used by Onet Accueil reception staff to board and disembark disabled and reduced-mobility passengers at Marignane airport, this adapted vehicle provides invaluable assistance to military personnel carrying out medical evacuations as part of the fight against the coronavirus.

The 125 Istres military base in the Bouches-du-Rhône département has two fully medicalized refueling aircraft. With their primary mission of repatriating French servicemen seriously wounded in overseas operations, these two giants of the skies have been mobilized to transport patients suffering from Covid-19, under appropriate care conditions.

Particularly hard hit by the epidemic, hospitals in the Bas-Rhin region are overcrowded, making it necessary to transfer patients to other regions of France that are less affected.
The Onet Accueil forklift makes it much easier to care for these people, while ensuring their safety and comfort.
