Fabrice Amedeo 's educational boat calls at Vannes
The open sea in Le Havre, the ocean in Vannes: discover Fabrice Amedeo's educational boat!
- - Onet
From October 15 to November 3, Fabrice Amedeo's IMOCA, dedicated to adventure and the preservation of the oceans, takes up residence in the heart of Vannes, right next to the Tourist Office. This stopover gives the general public and schoolchildren the chance to discover the interior of an IMOCA class yacht free of charge during the All Saints' vacation, and to immerse themselves in the daily life of ocean racing sailors.
This educational replica of Fabrice Amedeo's sailboat is designed to share the adventure and raise awareness of ocean preservation. The boat presents a concrete, interactive experience, enabling everyone to understand the importance of protecting large marine areas and the impact of human activities on the ocean.

The Onet Group has been a partner of Fabrice Amedeo's Ocean Calling project since 2019. As part of this project, the oceanographic sensors financed by Onet, installed on the racing boat and reproduced on this educational replica, are visible and explained to visitors. These instruments measure salinity, temperature, CO2, the presence of microplastics and environmental DNA, offering a direct and educational observation of the state of the oceans.
For Fabrice Amedeo, the mission of this educational boat is clear: to enable everyone to dream of the open sea while retaining the essentials:
of ocean pollution comes from land,
and saving the oceans starts with our actions on land.
