Children of Onet employees alongside the players at Groupama Stadium

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, during the match between Olympique Lyonnais and FC Lorient at Groupama Stadium, 15 children of Onet Group employees took part in the “Escort Kids” program. This initiative is part of the partnership between Onet and Olympique Lyonnais.

A selection from a drawing contest

This experience was made possible by a drawing contest organized in advance for the children of employees. Invited to express themselves on the theme “Onet and Sports,” many of them participated, demonstrating the families’ commitment to this initiative. At the end of the contest, 15 children were selected to enjoy this special moment up close with the players.

An immersive experience at the heart of the game

A few hours before the match, the children were welcomed to Groupama Stadium by the Olympique Lyonnais teams. After warming up in the locker rooms, they spent some time with Lyou, the club’s mascot, before taking the field alongside the players in front of several thousand spectators. It was a memorable moment, followed by a return to the stands to watch the match alongside their parents. The match ended with a 2-0 victory for Olympique Lyonnais.

A move that aligns with Onet's presence at Groupama Stadium

Beyond the experience the children have, this initiative takes on special significance at a stadium where Onet teams are on duty for every match. Committed to safety, the staff help ensure that events held at Groupama Stadium run smoothly. The “Escort Kids” initiative bridges the Group’s sports partnerships with the daily commitment of its teams on the ground. It is fully aligned with the “ Onet and Sports ” initiative, which aims to bring these partnerships to life by involving employees and their families.

Three "Escort Kids" operations during the season

Prior to this event, two similar initiatives had already been organized. Twenty-three children of employees had participated in a similar event during the OM–Strasbourg match, an immersive experience that was also captured in a video documenting the event.

Children of employees were also in attendance at the Marseillaises’ match against Montpellier, a historic first at the Orange Vélodrome marked by a crowd of over 35,000 spectators.
