A promising new chapter for the Olympique de Marseille women's team

As summer draws to a close, fans of women's soccer have plenty to cheer about as the new season kicks off for Olympique de Marseille (OM)'s women's team.

While the Olympiens have already made their league debut, attention is now turning to Les Olympiennes. With a new-look squad, a mix of young talent and experienced players, the OM Féminin enter the new season with lofty goals.

The first match of the season takes place this weekend in a friendly between Olympiennes (D2) and the Olympique Lyonnais women's team (D1). Kick-off is scheduled for 5.15pm on Saturday August 19 at the Gérard Houllier Field of Honor, located at the Groupama OL Training Center, which is open to all free of charge for the occasion.
