Onet raises the flag Sustainable Development Goals

This Wednesday, September 25, 2024, the Onet Group is taking part for the second year running in SDG Flag Day, a global initiative to promote the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By raising the SDG flag, Onet is reaffirming its commitment to a responsible and sustainable future, in line with the goals set by the UN for 2030.


The 17 SDGs adopted by the UN in 2015 are a global call to action to combat global challenges such as climate change, environmental protection or the fight against inequality. Onet, as a company that works on its impact, strives to integrate these principles into all its activities and services.

A commitment at the heart of Onet's strategy

Through its many initiatives, Onet places sustainable development at the heart of its strategy. By taking part in campaigns such as SDG Flag Day, the Group demonstrates its ambition to contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future. But it is above all by taking concrete action that it contributes to the achievement of the SDGs, including :
Protecting the health and safety of our employees and customers : contributing to SDG 3.

Promoting diversity and developing inclusion : contribution to SDGs 5, 8 and 10.s.

Produce services and goods in a circular economy that respects biodiversity, and develop activities that contribute to the use of low-carbon energy : contribution to MDGs 6, 12 and 13.

What is the Agenda 2030 and the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?

The Agenda 2030 is a universal framework, applicable to all countries. It is based on 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 targets, constituting a roadmap for tackling societal challenges.
Structured around the "5Ps" (Planet, People, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnerships), this agenda aims to promote sustainable development by 2030. The 17 goals, broken down into 169 sub-goals, define a future where social justice, economic growth, peace, solidarity and the preservation of ecosystems coexist.

Today, by raising the flag for the SDGs, Onet is reminding us that every action counts in the collective effort to reach the 2030 targets.
