Onet joins New Energies,
the Coalition of Energies for Transport and Logistics.

Onet, an international player in engineering and services, has joined the New Energies Coalition, a consortium of twenty members committed to decarbonizing transport and logistics.

Initiated in 2019 by the CMA CGM Group, the New Energies Coalition brings together major players in international supply chains. Together, they are working to develop innovative energy and technological solutions, to accelerate the transition to more sustainable modes of transport and logistics.

A commitment to decarbonization

A key partner to all international supply chain operators via its various business lines, Onet is also a player in the nuclear industry in France and internationally, working in synergy with its customers on the challenges of decarbonization. By joining the New Energies Coalition, Onet confirms its commitment to actively contributing to the energy and ecological transition, in close cooperation with leaders in logistics and transport.

In 2024, Onet took part in a flagship study by the Coalition, exploring the potential of nuclear power as a viable solution for marine propulsion, offshore power generation and port energy supply. This in-depth analysis highlighted the benefits of this low-carbon energy source, as well as the challenges and essential conditions for widespread adoption.

Onet's outlook and contributions

In the coming stages, Onet will mobilize its expertise to actively support the New Energies Coalition in the low-carbon transition of industrial and transport infrastructures. This could include innovative intra-site logistics solutions for complex environments such as port, airport and rail hubs, as well as dedicated inspection and control services for sensitive structures.

Thanks to its engineering expertise, particularly in optimizing energy performance, Onet will also be able to offer operational innovations at the heart of logistics processes. These solutions will help to significantly reduce carbon footprints, while enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of the infrastructures concerned.

A shared ambition

I'm delighted that Onet has joined the New Energies Coalition. We share the same ambitions as its members since its creation: to work together to develop concrete solutions for decarbonization.

At the heart of logistics and transport operators' day-to-day processes, we'll be putting our engineering skills and expertise from a wide range of businesses in France and abroad to work for the Coalition, developing innovative solutions to achieve the "zero carbon" objective.
