A look back at the 10th Piloting Onet in Prevention Day: a commitment to health and safety in the workplace

On Friday, October 18, 2024, Onet celebrated the 10th edition of its Piloting Onet in Prevention Day, an event dedicated to health and safety in the workplace. The day reflects the Group's commitment to safeguarding the health of its employees and reinforcing prevention to guarantee safety during its operations.

A decade of commitment to prevention

The Piloting Onet in Prevention Day is a key moment in the year for the Group, when every employee, in France and abroad, contributes to nurturing a collective dynamic around health and safety in the workplace. Prevention has been a key focus of Onet's Health & Safety Policy for many years, and is now an integral part of our strategic roadmap. This year, two main themes were highlighted: addictions in all their forms, and good safety practices.

Fighting addiction: a public health issue

The theme of addictions was at the heart of the discussions, addressing a major public health problem. In particular, addiction to screens, a phenomenon with already observed consequences on concentration, sleep and learning.

Through workshops led by experts and the Onet prevention network, employees at head office and in branches were able to gain a better understanding of the mechanisms of addictions, whether linked to substances or behavioral practices, for example.

Safety at work: shared best practices

A second key theme of the day was the dissemination of good safety practices, essential for the protection of our employees during their work.

In 2024, Onet Security organized a national challenge focusing on the resolution of dangerous situations, enabling employees to identify and propose solutions to everyday risks.

This year, the Group decided to honor the branches with the fewest traffic-related accidents in 2023. They were awarded the very first Onet Trophées de la Prévention Routière (Road Safety Trophies ) in the Light Vehicles, Heavy Vehicles and Heavy Goods Vehicles categories.

This recognition of good deeds is an essential way of reinforcing our prevention and safety culture.

Managing Onet en Prévention internationally

Onet's international teams have mobilized to raise their employees' awareness of health and safety issues in the workplace, through actions adapted to local conditions.

The focus was on the impact of digital technologies, with awareness-raising sessions to recognize the risks of addiction, and tools aimed at a more balanced use of screens and social networks, in both personal and professional life.

A question-and-answer game with a digital wheel provided an interactive approach to addictions.

A game was organized to reinforce risk prevention in the workplace.

Digital training courses covered evacuation procedures, first aid and screen-related risks, complemented by a self-assessment quiz on digital addiction.

The teams recalled safety rules and good prevention practices, with a focus on achieving ISO 45001 certification, underlining Onet's ongoing commitment to a global safety culture.
