EWWR 2024 : Onet contributes to waste reduction and ecosystem preservation
On the occasion of European Week for Waste Reduction (SERD) 2024, which runs from November 16 to 24, Onet is highlighting its actions in favor of waste reduction and reuse. Our commitment is part of a global approach to preserving biodiversity and ecosystems, acting on several fronts to reduce pollution, promote the circularity of resources and encourage all our stakeholders to adopt responsible practices.

European Week for Waste Reduction: reducing plastic pollution and recycling waste
To help reduce our environmental impact, we have included in our environmental policy a focus on reducing and recycling our waste in order to preserve biodiversity and ecosystems.Reduce waste at source: We are working to minimize plastic waste in our cleaning activities through biogistic solutions, and to raise awareness among all our stakeholders of the need to adopt more responsible practices. Our aim is to reduce pollution from the outset, and to change everyone's habits for a positive long-term impact.
Recycling waste : By developing group-wide collection solutions for electrical and IT waste, we facilitate the sorting and recovery of electrical and IT waste at group level.
National waste collection solutions
Onet is also committed to specific solutions for the collection and recycling of professional equipment, promoting circular economy models and the development of the work-integration sector.Biogistic a responsible and ecological cleaning solution
As part of our commitment to the circular economy, we have deployed our responsible cleaning solution Biogistic in all our cleaning agencies in France, thereby limiting the impact of our cleaning activities on the environment. Biogistic is based on an innovative concept of ultra-concentrated, eco-labelled and biotechnological products. The use of ultra-concentrated products limits the volume of products to be delivered, thus minimizing the amount of plastic waste. Thanks to our dilution system, three 25-liter cans of ultra-concentrated products can produce up to 20,000 liters of active solution.
Computer and telephone equipment management
Recycling electrical and electronic equipment
For the management of electrical and electronic equipment, we have established a partnership with the eco-organization Ecosystem. This national partnership facilitates the mass collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and embodies our commitment to environmental, economic and social performance. In 2023, Ecosystem collected 29 tonnes of Onet's electrical and electronic waste, contributing to a more responsible and sustainable management of resources.
Recognition in Luxembourg: the SDK label
In Luxembourg, Onet has been awarded the SDK label, a recognized quality certificate for sustainable resource management in companies and institutions, awarded under the patronage of the environmental administration as well as the Chamber of Trades and the Chamber of Commerce. This label testifies to our commitment to the ecological transition and our compliance with strict waste management and environmental protection standards. On the same theme
