Sophie Mazuy
between professional and sporting performance

Sophie Mazuy, a technician at Onet Technologies, is pursuing a demanding sports project in adapted table tennis, supported by "Let's Go", the Onet Sports Grant.

Balancing professional and sporting performance

Sophie Mazuy is a qualified technician withOnet Technologies in Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux. She works at the Tricastinnuclear power plant as a preparator and planner in the materials handling department. Her day-to-day work is based on rigor, coordinating technical interventions and complying with safety rules.

At the same time, Sophie is fully committed to a discipline that has been driving her since 2017: adapted table tennis. It's not only an outlet for her, but also a space for progress and encounters, enriching both her personal and professional career thanks to "Let's Go", the Onet Sports Grant.

A steadfast commitment to sport

In 2023, 2024 and 2025, Sophie confirmed her level by becoming regional champion. She is now qualified for the Championnat de France Sport Adapté. She will also be taking part in a selection course at the Pôle France in Poitiers, with a view to joining the French team. Her medium-term goal is to take part in the Global Games 2027 in Egypt, a worldwide competition reserved for athletes with mental or psychological disabilities.

These are demanding stages, requiring time, energy and resources. It was in this context that Sophie benefited from the "Let's Go" Sports Grant, an internal scheme designed to provide financial support for sports projects undertaken by Onet employees.

Accessible sport for a more inclusive community

Sophie's support is part of a wider initiative to promote inclusion. Other examples of the Group's commitment to opening up sporting horizons include wheelchair tennis player Emmanuelle Mörch and Paralympic judoka Prescillia Lézé.

Through these commitments, we aim to encourage the practice of sport in all its diversity, and to recognize that talents, desires and projects are not uniform. Adapted sport, in particular, enables many people to develop skills, assert themselves and build lasting projects.
