Job offer Mechanical design engineer F/H Alternance Rhône (69)

You will be involved in the development of an SMR (small modular reactor). This type of reactor aims to significantly increase fuel efficiency, improve safety at a competitive cost, and will have the capacity to use as fuel the waste already produced by existing nuclear power plants.

The reactors studied in this project are fourth-generation small modular reactors (SMRs), whose advanced technologies represent a technical challenge.

You'll be working on innovative, highly technical designs such as remotely-operated equipment, mechatronics, robotics and special machines in highly constrained (underwater, high radiation) or even extreme environments.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

You will participate in the design of complex technical solutions with high constraints (remotely-operated assemblies, handling equipment, mechatronic systems).

-You will take part in making presentations for internal or external technical meetings, and drawing up the associated minutes.

-You will be involved in all phases of a project, from the tender phase, studies (feasibility, preliminary design, detailed design, EXE, etc.) to completion (consultation, execution, assembly).

-You will participate in the design of various systems and equipment in collaboration with the project team and multidisciplinary teams in the technical department.

Your assets

You are preparing a Bac +5 degree in mechanical engineering/mechatronics (engineering school or university equivalent).

You are proficient in document drafting and CAD software such as SolidWorks and/or Catia.

You enjoy working as part of a team and are recognized for your commitment and thoroughness.
