Lucie de Gennes & Matisse Pacaud
A sports partnership promoting equality and performance
As part of its social commitment policy, the Onet Group is stepping up its involvement in high-level sport by partnering with Lucie de Gennes and Matisse Pacaud, French athletes competing in the mixed 470 class, an Olympic discipline that highlights team spirit and gender equality.
This partnership is fully in line with the Onet Group's equality plan, "Onederful," which aims to promote more balanced, inclusive career paths based on the recognition of skills, both in the professional and sporting worlds.
The mixed 470: an Olympic discipline aligned with Onet's values
The mixed 470 is one of the few Olympic disciplines where performance depends on total collaboration between a woman and a man. On board, every decision is shared, every responsibility is assumed collectively, and the performance requirements are identical for both athletes.
By supporting a high-level mixed crew, Onet affirms its commitment to promoting a pragmatic vision of gender equality based on skills, trust, and complementary talents.
A promising duo in French sailing
Lucie de Gennes and Matisse Pacaud are now one of the most promising mixed crews in French sailing. Their journey together began in 2019 at the Pôle France Voile in Marseille, after several years of solo sailing for each of them.
In just a few seasons, they built a strong synergy that was recognized at the highest level:
- several titles on the junior circuit,
- a successful transition to the senior elite,
- a role as training partners for the team selected for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Their progress is based on demanding daily work, strong mutual trust, and a shared vision of performance.
