Solidarity & Housing Day 2025: solidarity in action for the Onet Group

Created in 2010, the Onet Foundation works every day to combat poor housing and precarious living conditions. True to this mission, every year it brings Onet Group employees together for a special event: Solidarity & Housing Day.

Held every year on the3rd Friday in September, this day brings together volunteer employees from the Onet Group to work towards the same goal: improving the living conditions of people in vulnerable situations. It's a moment of sharing, cohesion and generosity, where collective energy is put to work for the common good.

Bilan 2025 : solidarity without borders

In France, solidarity was expressed in 17 cities:

Aix-en-Provence, Blois, Besançon, Bron, Chinon, La Roche-sur-Yon, Lille, Marseille (4 projects), Metz, Montélimar, Montpellier, Nantes, Nice, Saint-Avertin, Salon-de-Provence and Septèmes-les-Vallons.

Internationally, Onet solidarity has been exported to :

Luxembourg, Kénitra (Morocco), São Paulo (Brazil), Burgos (Spain), Madrid (2 projects).

Everywhere, our teams have helped to renovate reception centers, repaint common rooms, fit out outdoor spaces and create relaxation areas for children and families.

A commitment by and for our employees

Beyond the concrete achievements, this day is above all a powerful human experience. It strengthens bonds between colleagues, gives meaning to daily work and illustrates the Group's profound conviction that social progress is achieved through collective action and solidarity.

It's a really rich experience in human terms. We've been dreaming up this project for six months, and now to see it come to fruition in such good spirits, with music and smiles, it's really gratifying. Being a project leader means seeing behind the scenes, learning to manage a real team project while creating a link with the association. It's a lot of work, but also a lot of fun and pride.

I'd already taken part in the Solidarité Logement days several times as an employee, but being a project leader is a completely different experience. You discover all the preparation, the exchanges with the association, the planning... It's very enriching, and I'd recommend it to anyone. It's really satisfying to see the day unfold as you imagined it would.

Focus on Montpellier: solidarity, employment and social cohesion

In Montpellier, fifteen Onet agents working at the CHU have mobilized alongside the LOCAL association, based in the heart of the Petit Bard Pergola neighborhood. Founded in 2016, this association, initially focused on education, has since broadened its scope to include support for parenthood, housing and professional integration.

Together, the teams repainted the premises to renovate the reception area and provide a warmer setting for beneficiaries. The project also strengthened local ties, as several local residents are themselves Onet agents or members of their families.

In addition, a "job fair" area has been set up, offering employment and integration opportunities directly accessible to local residents.

This initiative fully embodied Onet's commitment to social support, and illustrated the Group's desire to act sustainably in the heart of the regions.
