Challenges to meet
Since the start on November 10, Fabrice has overcome numerous obstacles, including a major electrical failure at the start of the race. Thanks to his determination and expertise, he has continued to sail, today reaching 30ᵉ place and maintaining an average speed of 11 knots.

Committed to science and the environment
This race is not just a sporting challenge: it is also part of an essential scientific mission. Fabrice is contributing to a unique project by taking sensors on board his IMOCA to collect data on the quality of the world's ocean waters.
These sensors, supported by the Onet Group, have played a crucial role in Fabrice's environmental project, measuring parameters such as salinity, temperature and the presence of microplastics. This valuable data is made available to scientists to help them better understand the impact of climate change on our oceans.
A milestone reached, a new challenge in sight
Passing the Cape of Good Hope marks both a symbolic milestone and the start of an even more demanding course. Fabrice will now have to face the powerful winds and gigantic waves of the Indian and Southern Oceans.
