Olivia Cox, Regional Human Resources Manager at Onet Cleaning and Associated Services, took part in the Raid Défi d'Elles in Lapland from January 21 to 25, 2025.
This sporting and human adventure enabled her to surpass herself in sporting terms and create her own association, Lapoboobs, with a strong message for the fight against breast cancer.
It's a cause particularly close to her heart, since she overcame the disease herself ten years ago.
A day-to-day human and professional commitment
For the past nine years, Olivia Cox has been supporting Onet employees, ensuring their professional development and well-being. Her commitment to this raid reflects her desire to surpass herself, just as her role at Onet reflects her involvement in supporting her teams.

Committed preparation for an extreme challenge
Although not professional athletes, Olivia and her partner Alexia trained regularly, focusing on endurance. A single cross-country skiing session, carried out together, enabled them to familiarize themselves with this key raid discipline.
One of the biggest challenges was the extreme cold. While they had been able to test their equipment in France, the conditions in Lapland were going to be far more intense. When they set off, temperatures were forecast to drop sharply, making the ordeal even more demanding.
Three days of racing at -23°C

Day 1: 15 km of trail action and thrills
At dawn, Olivia and Alexia set off on a 15 km trail, with 280 meters of ascent, in a thick layer of snow. An unexpected toboggan run at the 12ᵉ km mark adds a touch of adrenaline to the ordeal. After the effort, they discover the beauty of the Lappish landscape on a dog sled ride.
Day 2: 9 km of cross-country skiing at -23°C
We wake up early for a race in the dark, equipped with headlamps. The hilly terrain and bitter cold make every climb a challenge. An error of trajectory forced them to climb a slope on skis. After the ordeal, it's time to recuperate with a traditional sauna and a dip in a frozen lake, before admiring the northern lights.

Day 3: 16 km of Run & Bike, a shared effort
Alternating between running and fat biking, Olivia and Alexia push on despite the fatigue and biting cold. Every kilometer is a challenge, but they cross the finish line with pride and satisfaction. Their final ranking: 29ᵉ out of 40 teams, a fine achievement after three days of surpassing themselves.
