Episode one: Alexia Lacroix and the Coupe des Alpes
The first story featured is that ofAlexia Lacroix, Operations and QSE Manager atOnet Cleaning and Associated Services, who turned her wheelchair rugby project into reality by organizing the Coupe des Alpes, an event supported by the Onet "Let's Go" Sports Grant.
An international competition driven by passion
The Coupe des Alpes, held for the second time on September 28 and 29, 2024, featured teams from Switzerland, Italy, Toulon and local club Bourgoin-Jallieu.
A logistical challenge brilliantly met
Organizing the event was no easy task: in August 2024, bad weather seriously damaged the parquet floor of the sports hall that was to host the competition. In just 15 days, Alexia and her team of 21 volunteers were able to reorganize the event in an accessible and functional venue, guaranteeing a quality competition in the best possible conditions.
In addition to managing the competition, Alexia Lacroix orchestrated all event logistics, including :
- Rental of vehicles adapted to transport players and wheelchairs
- Accommodation in PMR rooms (accessible to people with reduced mobility)
- Accompanying players in their movements and installations
A sporting and human commitment
Alexia doesn't stop there. In addition to organizing events, she has been a volunteer for 10 years with the CSBJ Handisport wheelchair rugby section, where she accompanies players in the national championship phases. A strong commitment that goes beyond sport and illustrates the values of solidarity and inclusion promoted by Onet.

A promising future for his team
Thanks to his involvement, the Bourgoin-Jallieu club not only organized a major event, but also shone on the pitch, winning the competition. They are now preparing to take part in the National 2 championship, which will be held in Niort until May 2025.
