Onet Security Telem Maroc
Ten years and a new impetus!

Ports, airports, ministries, aeronautics, banking establishments, etc. In just ten years, Onet Security Telem Maroc has become a key player in the installation and maintenance of video surveillance and access control systems in the Kingdom of Morocco.

The fast-growing company continues to win market share.

As it enters its eleventh year, the company is diversifying its business and expanding into Africa.

Over the next ten years, Onet Security Telem Maroc will be diversifying into building management systems. We have become the leading integrator of electronic security installation and maintenance in Morocco. In ten years, we have never terminated a single contract. Conversely, we've never stopped expanding our markets. Our ambition? To continue to expand on the African continent, with new projects in Africa to support our customers in access control, video surveillance and perimeter security. We are also studying projects to secure sensitive sites in two African countries".

The Director of Operations Onet Security Telem in Morocco celebrated the Moroccan subsidiary's tenth anniversary in 2021, alongside his colleagues and Frédéric Sirerol, Onet's Executive Vice President International.

An opportunity to look back at the modest beginnings in Morocco with a team of just three people. Telem, a 100% subsidiary of Onet, was born with four employees and three customers.

At the time, we created an electronic security structure in association with Câbleries du Maroc to respond to calls for tender.

170 customers in ports, airports, telecoms...

Today, based in Casablanca, Onet Security Telem Maroc has 170 customers and five branches in the country (Tangier, Rabat, Agadir, Marrakech and Fez).

We began by leveraging our references in France to convince our first customers. In 2010, the Office National des Aéroports (ONDA), BENI MELLAL airport and Rabat Salé airport (CNDA) near Casablanca, were the first to place their trust in us. We then expanded into the banking and telecoms sectors, and rapidly responded to public tenders, before winning a new contract with Marsa Maroc and the Agence Nationale des Ports to deploy video surveillance in the Casablanca port area.

Moroccan-based ST Microelectronics has been one of Onet Security Telem Maroc's loyal customers over the past decade. This trust is constantly renewed, not least for the reliability of the cameras, which international manufacturers entrust exclusively to the Group's specially trained and certified technicians for installation and maintenance. " We have six exclusive flagship products. Our cameras are far more powerful than those manufactured locally, which justifies the price difference," explains Frédéric Sirerol.

Solid partnerships have been forged with the world's leading manufacturers:

  • Samsung (HANWA),
  • MOBOTIX,
  • VMWARE,
  • ALCEA,
  • HIKVISION,
  • BOSCH,
  • MILESTONE,
  • STEM for cameras
  • APOLLO,
  • PERCO and DINEC for access control.

We are Gold Certified with the majority of manufacturers. We are recommended as a trusted partner for the most complex installations. Our technicians receive weekly training. In 2020, our technical manager was certified in fire and explosion risk DTE ANSSI with the CNPP (Centre national de prévention et de protection).

Overactivity during the pandemic

From 2015, Onet Security Telem Maroc was directly attached to the Group's international management, and returned to profit. Since then, the subsidiary has steadily gained market share thanks to the availability of its teams, including during the two years of the Covid-19 pandemic.

When Moroccan economic activity was put on hold during successive confinements, Onet Security Telem Maroc redoubled its activity by installing video surveillance cameras aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus. " We have installed a large number of fixed and mobile thermal cameras, which transmit the temperature of each person to security and control agents. This innovative solution has been deployed in some fifteen call centers across the country (including those belonging to GAFA). This new equipment is very popular with hotel complexes open to the public. The Onet Group's service culture flows through our veins. We listen to our customers, and our curiosity leads us to innovate to protect their staff ," explains Abdelaaziz Benlamine.

This period of health crisis was used to upgrade staff skills. Some fifty certification courses were offered by manufacturers to sales representatives, logistics managers and technical managers.

As a result,Onet Security Telem Maroc expects to generate sales of around two million euros by 2021, divided equally between public and private customers.

Among the most prestigious:

  • Safran, ST Microelectronics,
  • Crédit du Maroc,
  • LC Waikiki,
  • Bank Al-Maghrib,
  • MARSA MOROCCO,
  • Direction Générale de la Sûreté Nationale DGSN,

A bright future ahead
