Relive Fabrice Amedeo's Vendée Globe finish
as if you were there!

After 114 days, 1 hour, 58 minutes and 49 seconds at sea, Fabrice Amedeo has crossed the Vendée Globe finish line, finishing in 32ᵉ place.

A feat marked by a strong commitment to the preservation of the oceans, an intense human adventure supported by the employees of the Onet Group, its partner since 2019.

On Tuesday March 4, 2025, Fabrice was welcomed back to dry land by his family, partners and many sailing enthusiasts. Relive every highlight of this exceptional day!

A sporting and scientific challenge to preserve the oceans

Since 2019, Onet has been supporting Fabrice Amedeo in his #OceanCalling project, which aims to collect scientific data on the state of the oceans using onboard oceanographic sensors.

His Imoca, a veritable floating laboratory, ran without fossil fuels thanks to 16 m² of solar panels and two hydro-generators, confirming his commitment to the energy transition and ocean preservation.

1:00 pm: Departure from the pontoon in Les Sables-d'Olonne.

His team, his family, and the race organization head for the last gate before the finish line to meet Fabrice Amedeo's IMOCA. Alongside them, Manuel Cousin, 31ᵉ of the race, wishes to accompany our navigator for these final miles, sealing a friendship born over the weeks at sea.

2:00 pm: Enthusiasm builds

The accompanying fleet expands, with numerous RIBs forming a veritable floating caravan around Fabrice's boat.

6:30 pm: Fabrice enters the channel

After waiting for the tide to rise, Fabrice enters the channel to the cheers of 2,000 people lining the quayside. Banners, horns and chants punctuated his progress towards the pontoon.

7:00 pm: Arrival at the dock!

He is welcomed by his family, friends, the media and other skippers, including Arnaud Boissières, who has come to salute his achievement. On stage, he shares his emotions with the Race Director.

8:00 pm: Press conference

At the press conference, Fabrice analyzes his race and discusses his strategic and meteorological choices, before enjoying his traditional dinner, which he will have communicated to Race HQ beforehand.
