Focus on the Onet Group's 9 CSR commitments!

Since 2004, the Onet Group has supported the ten principles of the Global Compact relating to respect for human rights, international labor standards, the environment and the fight against corruption.

On a day-to-day basis, we follow a 2020-2023 roadmap embodied in our 9 CSR commitments to social, environmental and societal issues.

Here's a closer look at our commitments and what they mean in practice.

Our 4 social commitments

We are committed to preserving our teams and developing their potential to improve our social impact and collective performance.

7th edition of Piloter Onet en Prévention

Protecting the health and safety of our employees and customers: Raising awareness through the POP (Piloter Onet en Prévention) approach

Very attentive to the protection of our employees, we have implemented the POP approach (Piloter Onet en Prévention). The aim of this day is to raise awareness and share best practices in health and safety. During the 2022 event, numerous awareness-raising workshops were held at our sites around the world. Our employees were able to address a number of themes: prevention of addictions and road risks, as well as the sharing of best practices.

Through the "Road Safety & Addictions" e-learning program, a film produced by Onet employees and an educational game called ADDICTO'Quizz, POP 2022 helped people discover the different categories of addiction, their consequences, the responsibilities of each and every one, and the means of help available.

Promoting diversity and developing inclusion to combine innovation and performance: A global approach to diversity

We are pursuing our disability policy initiated in 2016, with the aim of better inclusion of people with disabilities and actions to maintain employment in order to combat unfitness. Also, since 2006, we have been a signatory to the Diversity Charter, a commitment that condemns discrimination in employment and promotes diversity. We also partner and support a number of associations whose aim is to promote inclusion in employment.

On Tuesday September 13, 2022, the Inclusion referents' seminar took place, a day of cohesion and sharing. The aim of the day was to foster links within the referent network, but also to promote their missions within the Group. Appointed on a voluntary basis, they provide assistance to employees with disabilities who need support in their day-to-day life at work.

Developing the employability and expertise of all our employees by expanding the Onet University offer: Helping our employees grow through the Onet University.

We are committed to providing our employees with training opportunities and facilitating knowledge transfer. Investing in skills is a strong commitment and a major social role for us. The raison d'être of our university is to develop the skills of all our employees, from agents to managers, in all professions.

Capitalizing on internal talent and identifying potential are essential to our company's strategy. We rely heavily on internal promotion.

In this way, the training cycles we have put in place enable our employees to progress towards management positions. In 2021, to complete our 2 curricula, we have launched a module to support our sales teams.

Developing the employee experience throughout his or her career: Fostering the integration of new recruits and their sense of belonging to the Group

The employee experience refers to all the interactions and experiences experienced by one of our employees at key moments in their career and in their day-to-day professional life, from recruitment to departure. Today, it is essential to optimize the employee experience, of which the integration of new recruits is a real lever.

#new2022

An "on-boarding" application is currently being deployed. It will accompany the employee through the various phases, speeding up access to useful information for the new employee and marking out key integration appointments.

Our 2 environmental commitments

We are committed to preserving the environment and helping to protect the planet.

Producing goods and services as part of a circular economy and respect for biodiversity: Biogistic: a responsible global waste management solution combining technical and environmental performance

To improve the quality and environmental performance of our services, we have deployed a biotechnological cleaning solution. This global solution combines the use of eco-labeled, biotechnology-derived products with integrated logistics, from ordering to on-site use of the products. It's an environmentally-friendly solution, thanks to the reuse of containers, controlled dilution, rapid biodegradability and optimization of the supply chain to reduce transport-relatedCO2 emissions.

#Pourallerplusloin

Since 2018 we have been a member of the Institut National de l'Économie Circulaire, an association dedicated to "promoting the circular economy in France and Europe."

World Environment Day

Developing activities that contribute to the use of low-carbon energy: Acting for a green & responsible car fleet

Since 2019, we have been engaged in a major project to implement an energy transition strategy to 2030. At the heart of the challenges is the greening of the fleet, which comprises 4,000 various vehicles (Light Vehicles and Light Commercial Vehicles, of which around 50% are service vehicles and 50% company vehicles) traveling an average of 27,000 km per year. By 2021, 13.6% of electric and hybrid vehicles have been ordered, and 60 recharging points have been installed to enable employees, partners and customers to recharge their personal and business vehicles.

Focus on Myons, the1st 100% electric Onet branch!

The agency has equipped itself with 25 100% electric vehicles to clean and sweep the roads of Greater Lyon. Training sessions have been organized for the 50 Group employees working on this project.

Our 3 social commitments

Providing essential services that are vital to everyone's quality of life

All you need to know about French employees and the cleaning industry: ONET X IPSOS

Thanks to the study on " Cleanliness in the daily lives of French people and in their workplaces " carried out with Ipsos, we are able to provide our customers with value-added information and offer a consultancy approach to developing concrete solutions that meet the hygiene and cleanliness challenges of occupants, users and customers.

Anchoring ourselves in local communities by developing lasting partnerships

A purchasing policy that includes a CSR component

Our Group is involved in the development of the industry, and takes on responsibilities on the boards of trade associations and sectoral technical committees.

In particular, we participate in the cleaning sector's CSR strategy by chairing the CSR referents committee of the Fédération des entreprises de propreté et services associés, as well as the stakeholder advisory committee.

Following the development of the sector's CSR reference framework in 2020, the committee worked on the concept of responsible purchasing in the waste management sector, and in particular on the promotion of CSR criteria.

We have also included CSR criteria in 100% of our calls for tender, enabling us to take greater account of CSR in our supplier selection criteria.

Sharing our CSR commitments and extending Onet's positive impact to our external stakeholders

Quality of service & commitment to sustainable development

Our CSR approach enables us to add value to our services by identifying the priority actions to be taken for each customer according to their own CSR challenges. Audits such as ISO 9001/14001/MASE and other industry standards incorporate the expectations of our stakeholders. In 2021, following an ACESIA AFNOR Certification assessment based on the CSR framework for the cleaning sector (in line with ISO 26000), we were awarded a score of 80 out of 100.
