Join us, we're looking for 1 Buyer - Category Manager with experience in B&B distribution.

Reporting directly to the Offer Department, as part of an 11-strong team, you will be responsible for the design and development of one or more product ranges for a given business sector.

To this end, the mission includes the following activities:

1/ Definition of the product offering:

Analyze the division's product offering in relation to corporate strategy.
Organize 360° market intelligence on products and trends.
Identify and propose suppliers and innovations to complete/improve the division's offering.
Draw up purchasing specifications, set Kpis, audit and evaluate supplier offers.
Negotiate referencing conditions (rates, support, MKT budget, deadlines, etc.).
Propose the referencing of a partner/supplier, then ensure that the contract is properly carried out.
Draw up and manage a costed sales plan for the division's product category.
Define the offer and ensure that it is properly adopted by the sales network (offer promotion).

2/ Promotion and visibility :

Negotiate the marketing and contribution budget with the supplier.
Ensure the coding, price positioning and availability of products and services at the time of launch.
Monitor the quality of supplier products and services, contracts and inventories.

3/ Profitability and contribution to sales growth and margin :

Define precise periodic and/or annual objectives (budget, sales/MB development, improving awareness and/or visibility of a product range).
Manage and analyze performance (purchasing/sales) versus plan objectives.
Manage an annual purchasing budget for a range of products
Manage the relationship between the supplier and the sales network.
Participate in working groups related to your activity and/or Group issues. These assignments may involve travel, meetings, reports, studies and presentations.
Keep abreast of innovations and strategies of national competitors, and of different pricing positions and organizations.
Participate in sales events (trade shows, site visits, demonstrations)

Your assets

You have a degree in Purchasing or Marketing and at least 8 years' experience in an equivalent position.

You are comfortable using IT tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and have a good command of English.

Experience in managing work clothing and/or PPE would be highly appreciated.

You also have excellent analytical and summarizing skills, and are known for your dynamic interpersonal skills.

You are business-, customer- and results-oriented. You have a proven track record of autonomy, initiative and initiative-taking.
