Job offer Defense Technical Architect F/H CDI Marseille

Working in the Technical Department, reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the design and technical coordination of projects to draw up definition and justification files for complex mechanical systems or sub-systems in the Defense sector.

You analyze the needs defined in the specifications and participate upstream in the tender response phases.

You define the technical orientations of the project, conduct the design studies and develop the technical solution. In this capacity, you are responsible for the pre-sizing and design choices of equipment in compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual performance criteria.

You guarantee technical choices and performance in compliance with specifications (quality, costs, deadlines) and manage the technical teams responsible for developing and qualifying the sub-systems or assemblies developed.

You will be the main technical contact for the customer and all those involved in the project (engineering manager, project manager, quality, purchasing, methods, control, production, site, etc.).

You will provide assistance and technical support during the procurement, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning phases of the sub-systems or assemblies developed.

Your assets

You have the ability to grasp issues both globally and in detail. You know how to anticipate problems and be proactive in proposing and implementing solutions.

You have a degree in mechanical engineering and at least 7/8 years' experience as a mechanical design engineer for complex machines, including at least 3 years as technical manager on industrial projects in the defense sector.

This position is subject to administrative investigation. Final recruitment will be subject to SECRET clearance.
