Job Opening: Compliance Assistant (Work-Study Program) (M/F) Work-Study Program, Marseille

As part of the Legal & Compliance Department and reporting to the Compliance Officer, you will help implement and improve the company’s ethics and integrity program. In this role, you will focus on issues such as anti-corruption (Sapin II), conflicts of interest, export controls, competition law, and business integrity.

In this role, your responsibilities will include the following:

Anti-Corruption & the Sapin II Law

Provide assistance and support across all pillars of the anti-corruption framework under the Sapin II Act.

Conflicts of interest

Help prepare and roll out awareness campaigns and conflict-of-interest disclosure initiatives.
Help identify and analyze situations that pose a risk of conflict of interest.

Export Control & International Sanctions

Assist with and provide support for the implementation of the compliance program regarding international export control regulations and international sanctions.

Antitrust Law

Contribute to monitoring activities related to anti-competitive practices (cartels, abuse of dominant position, exchange of sensitive information).
Participate in the review of sensitive business projects (partnerships, consortia, and requests for proposals).
Help develop internal training materials on competition rules and best practices in dealing with competitors.
Document the analyses conducted and follow up on the recommendations made.

Regulatory Monitoring & Documentation

Monitor legal and regulatory developments in France, the European Union, and the countries where the Group operates.
Prepare summary reports and impact analyses.
Help update the document repository (policies, procedures, guides).

Internal Controls & Reporting

Help conduct compliance audits on sensitive processes.
Help prepare internal reports (Ethics Committee, Compliance Committee).
Assist with the consolidation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI compliance).

As part of your duties, you will ensure strict compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will treat the information entrusted to you with the utmost confidentiality and contribute to the quality and reliability of the analyses and audits conducted. You will be expected to raise the alarm in the event of identified risks or discrepancies, and to actively contribute to fostering a culture of integrity within the group.

Your assets

As a student pursuing a specialized Master’s degree in compliance, business law, or a related field, you have a strong interest in issues related to integrity, international regulation, and risk management.

Ideally, you have knowledge of anti-corruption, business law, competition law, export control, or international compliance. You are meticulous and possess strong analytical skills, and you demonstrate a keen eye for detail.

Your strong writing skills and ability to synthesize information enable you to produce clear, well-structured analyses. You are known for your integrity, ethical standards, and discretion when handling sensitive information.

You are proficient in office software and, ideally, some screening tools. Finally, your business-level English allows you to communicate with international contacts and work with English-language documentation.
