Job Opening: Industrial Cleaning and Safety Team Leader (M/F), Fixed-Term Contract, Loire-Atlantique (44)

Location: Chantiers de l’Atlantique, in Saint-Nazaire.

Start date: as soon as possible.
Contract: initial 3-month assignment, with the possibility of a permanent contract upon completion.
Work schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a daily break not included in the 35-hour workweek.
Classification: Team Leader, Level 3 (CE3).
Base salary: €2,341.78 gross per month for a 35-hour workweek.

Your responsibilities:

Reporting to the ONET vessel manager, you will supervise a team of 1 to 3 people and participate in daily operations.

You combine cleaning, risk prevention, and service monitoring.

In this role, you will be required to:

Organize and assign tasks to your team based on the project's priorities.
Help with cleanup efforts on board.
Conduct patrols to identify hazardous situations, including the risk of falling objects and obstacles to traffic.
Post and update safety notices.
Take the corrective actions within your scope of responsibility: move an object that is in the way, clear a path, or adjust the signage.
Anticipate needs related to logistics transportation, in coordination with the relevant contacts.
Report situations requiring further action and follow up on the actions taken.
Write simple reports and update tracking spreadsheets.
Communicate regularly with client representatives and your manager to tailor the service to on-site needs.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is attentive to their surroundings, reliable, and capable of taking appropriate initiative while following instructions.

You know how to organize your work, communicate clearly, and lead a small team.

You enjoy a hands-on role that also involves some administrative follow-up.

You are comfortable using Excel and Word to create spreadsheets and write reports.

Knowledge of shipbuilding is a plus.

Previous experience in management or risk prevention is not required: your organizational skills, your ability to adapt, and your willingness to commit will be essential.
