You will play a key role in steering the performance of our Business Unit's facilities. As a trusted contact for facility managers, you will support them in analyzing their results, seeking efficiencies and promoting improvement actions.
You will work closely with all BU departments, including General Management, Finance, Sales, HR and operational teams.
Your main tasks:
1. Managing plant performance
Analyze product or service costs by type of activity
Monitor deviations from targets and assess associated risks
Lead performance reviews with facility managers
Promote identified improvement actions and monitor them over time
Conduct field audits to support economic analyses
Guarantee accurate representation of operational deviations in economic reports
2. Reporting, budgeting and financial monitoring
Coordinate BU budget preparation and updates
Translate figures into operational business indicators (sales, profitability, ROI, etc.)
Consolidate and analyze income statements with support from finance/accounting teams
Build and monitor scorecards summarizing performance KPIs
Ensure regular reporting of BU results.
3. Strategic and cross-functional support
Provide sales teams with reliable data to build competitive offers
Contribute economic insight to strategic decisions (new offers, organization, changes in expenses, etc.)
Contribute to the development of BU projects
With a degree (Bac+5) in management, finance, management control or engineering, you have proven experience in a similar position, ideally in a multi-site or industrial environment, with strong exposure to economic and operational performance issues.
You are at ease in a field environment and know how to immerse yourself in the operational side of the business to fully understand the challenges facing each department. You have a genuine ability to work closely with teams and to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, both operational and from support functions.
Your analytical skills enable you to process complex data, draw clear conclusions and formulate pertinent recommendations. You are rigorous, well-structured and have good organizational skills, and are able to handle several assignments at once, while keeping a firm grip on objectives.
Proactive and a critical thinker, you're not afraid to challenge situations and suggest areas for improvement to boost performance.
You have a good command of office automation tools, particularly Excel, and ideally Power BI for data visualization. You have a good knowledge of management and ERP software, such as SAP, Sage or equivalent.
Written and spoken English is required for internal exchanges and certain cross-functional analyses.
