Onet Logistique & Production is recruiting an Operations Director (aerospace and defense) to support its growth.

Based in Toulouse (or Marseille), you will report to the Managing Director and be a member of the business unit's Executive Committee. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients in the aerospace and defense sectors at the national level.

You will oversee and coordinate all activities related to financial management, human resources, customer relations, and methods to ensure the performance and efficiency of your area of responsibility. You will manage the multi-site directors in your network and ensure the overall performance of the sites, adherence to budgets, and compliance with practices and processes across all sites.

In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Define, in conjunction with senior management, the operational strategy and implement it at each site to ensure consistency and synergy across all operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate four multi-site managers, ensuring the effective management of local operations and the achievement of set objectives.
  • Optimize processes and operational flows across all sites, ensure harmonization of practices, pooling of resources, and continuous improvement of performance to guarantee a high level of service.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial agreements and monitor the renewal of offers
  • Regularly follow up with existing customers, take on new markets, and carry out public relations activities.
  • Establish and analyze overall and site-specific KPIs, propose action plans to improve performance, and report to the CEO.
  • Ensure that quality, safety, and legal compliance standards are met at all sites, while monitoring customer satisfaction indicators.
Your assets

You have a five-year degree (engineering school or equivalent) with a specialization in management, logistics, or operations management, and you have significant experience in managing multi-site activities, acquired in the logistics or industrial sectors. You also have excellent knowledge of the aviation sector and its players.

Performance-oriented, you demonstrate true strategic vision and know how to lead large-scale continuous improvement projects. You are fully proficient in performance management tools (KPIs and dashboards) and make decisions based on reliable data analysis.

With recognized leadership and managerial skills, you are able to mobilize cross-functional teams around common goals, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction. You also stand out for your interpersonal skills and your ability to interact effectively with a variety of people (customers, operational teams, management, etc.).
