Offer description

Your mission

 

As part of our efforts to expand our non-destructive testing operations, we are offering a work-study program in NDT engineering designed to train future experts capable of working on high-value-added technical projects.

 

Working alongside an experienced mentor, you will participate in engineering, process development, and the qualification of non-destructive testing methods used in nuclear facilities.

 

You will gradually be assigned to the following tasks:

 

Research and Technical Development

  • Participate in the preparation of engineering studies related to the development and implementation of NDT methods;
  • Contribute to the development of ultrasonic (UT) and/or eddy current (EC) testing methods based on your skills and career progression.

Industrialization and certification

  • Help implement, scale up, and validate testing processes;
  • Contribute to the drafting of technical documents, including qualification files for NDT methods applied to pressure equipment.

Participation in operational activities

  • Observe and, as you gain experience, assist in performing non-destructive testing to support the teams;
  • Contribute to the training of operational teams and the transfer of expertise.
Your assets

You are pursuing a master’s degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, physics, instrumentation, or non-destructive testing (at an engineering school or through a master’s program).


Experience or knowledge of NDT is a plus.

  • Strong interest in NDT methods (UT, CF, UTPA, TOFD, etc.).
  • Diligence, technical curiosity, analytical skills, and a desire to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for teamwork.
