Your mission

At our Cadarache branch, you will join an expert team working on two main activities:

 

  • Support for the operation, dismantling, clean-up and management of nuclear waste for our customers at CEA Cadarache,
  • Assistance to outside contractors. 

 

 

 

Your tasks : 


As a Nuclear Safety Engineer, you play an essential role in the success of projects involving the design, operation or decommissioning of nuclear facilities. You bring your expertise to bear in meeting our customers' safety requirements.

 

Your main responsibilities will be :

 

Safety studies and analyses

 

  • Produce safety analyses and dossiers: various studies, safety reports, safety option dossiers, preliminary reports, periodic reviews, FEM/DAM process, etc.

 

  • Check and validate deliverables produced by the safety team.
    On-site interventions

 

  • Carry out visits, surveys and observations on installations to support your analyses.

 

Project contributions

 

  • Participate in multi-disciplinary projects and bring the safety vision to bear.

 

  • Contribute to the drafting of responses to calls for tender.

 

  • Promoting a safety culture among our teams.

 

  • Monitor and analyze nuclear safety feedback.
Your assets

 

You have a 5-year higher education qualification (engineering school or equivalent
university) specializing in nuclear engineering, and experience in the field of nuclear safety.

 

 

This position is subject to administrative investigation.
