As part of the development of its Engineering and Reactor Services Division, the Welding - Fabrication - Inspection Operational Unit of the Works Department is looking for a :
IWE welding engineer f/h
You will supervise and coordinate resources and activities in the field, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and established budgets.
You draw up welding procedures and manufacturing processes in compliance with regulatory and contractual standards. You also check the welding technical documentation of our subcontractors (specifications and reports, welding specifications, etc.).
Depending on the requirements of the situation, you will support welding activities on site.
You will monitor and steer the development of welding procedures for on-site operations, the development of special machines and diving activities (underwater welding).
You may be asked to work on various welding-related projects/tenders and carry out inspection audits.
This is a job with national and international travel. You will also have to write and converse in English with certain customers/suppliers.
You're known for your writing skills; you're versatile and rigorous, so you can easily handle several projects at the same time. Your interpersonal skills enable you to quickly familiarize yourself with your contacts.
You have a 5-year higher education qualification in welding, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar position using RCC-M, ASME, CODAP codes and harmonized standards.
This position is subject to administrative investigation.
