Job Opening: MACHINING OPERATOR (M/F) – Permanent Position

For one of our subsidiaries, FROMECA—a specialist in precision machining and the manufacture of complex mechanical parts—we are recruiting a Machining Operator (Lathe or Milling Operator) to join its production teams in Saint-Just-de-Claix (38).

Recognized for its technical expertise and the quality of its work, FROMECA supports demanding manufacturers in the production of single-unit and small-batch mechanical parts for highly technical industries.

Working in the workshop and reporting to the Production Manager, you will help manufacture mechanical parts while ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements and meeting production deadlines.

Your main tasks will be as follows:

- Prepare and set up the machines before production begins

- Perform machining operations on a lathe or milling machine

- Perform self-inspections of manufactured parts using the appropriate measuring tools

- Ensure that the documents produced comply with requirements

- Keep your workstation clean and organized in accordance with quality standards

- Report any issues or non-compliance to your manager

Your assets

You have a BEP, CAP, or Bac Pro in Machining Technology or an equivalent qualification, and ideally have some initial experience in an industrial setting.

You are proficient in using dimensional inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers, and you know how to follow manufacturing instructions and machining procedures.

You are thorough and committed to the quality of your work; you are able to work independently on your assignments while also enjoying being part of a team.
