Your mission

 

 

We are hiring a bridge engineer to work at the CEA site in Cadarache.

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:

 

  • Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads

 

  • Safely securing loads (selecting accessories, balancing, and checking)

 

  • Check the condition of lifting equipment (overhead cranes, slings, hooks, accessories) before use

 

  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures specific to nuclear environments

 

  • Communicate with ground crews (hand signals, radio) to coordinate maneuvers

 

  • Handle sensitive or specialized equipment in accordance with technical requirements

 

  • Report any equipment malfunctions or issues

 

  • Keep your workstation clean and safe

 

Your assets

 

Ideally, you hold a CAP/BEP or vocational high school diploma in maintenance, logistics, or a related field, and have significant experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial setting.

You hold the necessary certifications to operate overhead cranes (CACES R484 or equivalent).

 

You are known for your attention to detail, your vigilance, and your adherence to safety guidelines.

Your ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential qualities for this position.

 

Previous experience in a nuclear environment is preferred.

The PR1 Research Center training program is a plus.

 

This position is subject to administrative investigation.
