Job Opening: Piping/Structural Draftsperson (M/F) – Permanent Position

Reporting to the Technical and Industrial Division (DTI) and working as part of the general plant engineering team, you will be involved in projects related to the design or modification of nuclear facilities.

More specifically, you will work on design and project management projects to define piping systems (compressed air, process water, effluents, breathing air), fabricated equipment (tanks), and metal structures (floors, supports, racks, walkways) and material handling systems.

You will be supervised by a technical advisor specializing in piping and structural engineering.

Following our in-house training, you may be required to perform 3D scanning, both during data acquisition and in post-processing.

You will be involved in a variety of assignments and projects:

On-site measurements, 3D scanning, post-processing
CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Revit) of equipment
Production of layout drawings, guides, details, isometric drawings, and parts lists
Drafting of standard operating procedures and other technical documents
Participation in technical meetings, virtual/augmented reality design reviews
Consultation with suppliers, monitoring of implementation

Your assets

You have a two- or three-year college degree and at least five years of experience as a drafting technician, with proven experience in detailed design projects for piping, sheet metal work, and steel structures. You are proficient in Revit and/or SolidWorks.

You are eager to learn, grow, take on new projects, and develop your skills.

You are thorough, curious, and have good listening and communication skills.
