Job offer Experienced mechanical designer F/H CDI Marseille

You will work on projects for major nuclear contractors, creating special mechanical equipment for testing, handling, maintenance, repair and operation of nuclear facilities.

You will be required to use innovative, highly technical resources such as remotely-operated equipment, mechatronics, robotics and special machines in highly constrained (submerged, highly radiated) or even extreme environments.

As part of a multi-skilled project team, you will be involved in the various phases of special machine development. (feasibility, preliminary and detailed design, manufacturing, etc.).

Your missions are as follows:

You research solutions and work on 3D modeling. You carry out functional dimensioning and geometric tolerancing, and produce assembly drawings, detail drawings and bills of materials, as well as mechanical pre-dimensioning. You manage the associated technical documentation (justification notes, consultation notes).

You will participate in the prototyping of proposed solutions (3D printing, machining, sheet metal work, assembly, fine-tuning), and will prepare files for the launch of manufacturing and follow-up with suppliers, assembly procedures for the devices designed, qualification plans and on-site tests.

Your assets

You have a 2/3-year higher education qualification (DUT GMP / BTS CPI or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering) with a specialization in mechanical engineering, ideally with 8 to 10 years' experience, in the nuclear and/or special machine sectors.

You are familiar with SolidWorks and/or CATIA V5 software (and SolidWorks PDM software (ideally)).

You enjoy working as part of a team, and are recognized for your commitment, rigor and autonomy.
