As part of our activities on the SOGEVAL ICPE site, we are strengthening our logistics organization and recruiting a Transport Office Manager.
Reporting to the Logistics Operations Department, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and regulatory compliance of transport flows, in an ICPE classified environment, subject to stringent requirements in terms of safety, traceability and compliance with procedures.
Your main tasks:
1. Strategic management and organization of transport
- Working with management, define the site's transport strategy and contribute to its operational deployment.
- Draw up transport plans to optimize costs, lead times and safety.
- Ensure compliance of transport operations with ICPE and ADR requirements (transport of hazardous materials, waste, sensitive products).
2. Operational and regulatory management
- Supervise daily transport operations to and from the site.
- Research, select and manage transport service providers and subcontractors, ensuring regulatory compliance and performance.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual conditions, ensuring cost control and compliance with ONET quality standards.
- Organize and monitor material and waste flows in accordance with ICPE obligations and SOGEVAL site environmental authorizations.
- Document management (waste tracking slips, ICPE registers, ADR certificates, insurance, customs, etc.).
3. Management and performance
- Manage and lead the Transport Office team (operators, drivers, planners).
- Size the workforce according to operational needs and participate in recruitment.
- Train employees in safety, quality, radiation protection and environmental regulations.
- Set up and monitor transport performance indicators (costs, service rates, compliance, incidents).
- Carry out regular audits of service providers and manage continuous improvement plans.
4. Security, compliance and reporting
- Ensure compliance with HSE and ICPE requirements applicable to transport activities.
- Work with the site's Environmental Safety Manager (ESM) to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor legislation and regulations concerning industrial transport, hazardous materials and ICPEs.
- Report regularly to the Logistics Department and contribute to the SOGEVAL site's ICPE assessments.
