Offer description

Your mission

Who we are

The primary source of biodiversity erosion is land artificialisation. So at Sinteo we decided to act since 2014 with our ecologists on this factor to promote respect and development of living things in the act of building. We're campaigning to move on from the days of public works and civil engineering to the era of "Ecological Engineering".

To meet this challenge, our ecologists provide consulting and ecological engineering services within a multidisciplinary environmental workshop: that's the Sinteo collective!

Your contribution to the team

You will be involved in a variety of tasks:

  • Develop an ecological engineering approach with the division manager: measure and calculate ecosystem service indicators, structure an offer for the design and monitoring of ecological engineering worksites.
  • Project management: planning, customer relations, monitoring performance indicators, invoicing, team management
  • Field naturalist inventories: mastery of protocols, field organization and report writing.
  • Participate in the preparation of regulatory study files (protected species derogation files, impact study, water law file, wetlands diagnosis, tree phytosanitary diagnosis, Natura 2000 impact file, etc.).
  • Supervise proper implementation on site
  • Dialogue with our multidisciplinary team of environmental and technical project managers to design virtuous buildings together: development of cross-disciplinary tools and expertise.
Your assets

Reporting to the Urban Ecological Engineering Division Manager in a team of 6 ecologists, as Project Manager you will support our customers and partners within the business.

Above all, we're looking for someone who's motivated, autonomous and a self-starter, who'll thrive and get involved in their assignments. Of course, we are looking for the following skills:

Job requirements :

  • You have at least 3 years' professional experience in a technical or environmental design office.
  •  You have in-depth knowledge of at least 4 specific taxa: chiroptera, reptiles, amphibians, lepidoptera, orthoptera, odonates, diptera, hymenoptera, carabid beetles, etc.
  • You have a good command of the French Environmental Code, particularly with regard to protected species and water legislation.
  • You have carried out initial environmental assessments and drafted regulatory dossiers (bioassessment, impacts, ERC-A measures, DREAL submission).
  • You are autonomous in G.I.S. mapping (QGIS)
  • You have a perfect command of the Office pack, particularly Excell.
  • You have convictions and identify with our values
