Reporting to the Site Manager, we are looking for an Assistant Manager for our in-situ logistics loading and unloading perimeters.
The missions will be as follows:
Management / Operations :
- You manage a team,
- You are on the ground to ensure that logistics operations run on time and in accordance with the quality and cost requirements set.
- You optimize team organization: you adjust schedules to ensure maximum efficiency.
- You ensure that a good working environment is maintained.
Customer relations :
- You ensure customer satisfaction and manage daily interactions with customers.
Quality, Safety and Environment:
- You ensure that the site complies with all security requirements.
To manage and steer the site, you may be required to
- Support the site manager in management and leadership: team sizing (recruitment, etc.)
- Perform weekly checks and send them to the regional agency
- Collaborate with your agency to manage contracts, amendments, bonuses, and overtime, providing the necessary information to the administrative departments for payroll and billing.
- Monitor the site's KPIs to ensure effective management and take corrective action if necessary.
- Achieve key performance indicators and improve customer service
Your profile:
- Previous experience in distribution, preferably in a site supervision or team management role,
- Higher education with at least Bac+2/Bac+3 or more in management, logistics, commerce, management or a related field,
- You have a first successful experience in site supervision and team management,
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage and motivate teams,
- Proficiency in the IT tools needed to manage site operations,
- Versatility, sense of responsibility and results orientation,
- Team spirit, active listening and ability to take initiative
