Reporting to the Site Manager, we are looking for an Assistant Manager F/H for our in-situ logistics activity located in Orange in the Vaucluse region.
We operate on a 24/7 basis.
Our service consists of managing post-production flows (line output and overflow reception - stocking - inventory management - order preparation and loading).
The missions will be as follows:
Management / Operations :
You will manage a team of around 50 people, including 9 team leaders and logistics forklift operators.
You will be on the ground to ensure that logistics operations are carried out on time and in line with quality and cost requirements.
You will optimize team organization: you will adjust schedules to ensure maximum efficiency.
You will ensure that a good social climate is maintained.
Customer relations :
You ensure customer satisfaction and manage the daily interface with them.
Quality, Safety and Environment:
You ensure that the site complies with absolute safety requirements
You ensure that processes are updated and respected
To manage and steer the site, you may be required to
To replace the Site Manager during his or her absences
To support the Site Manager in managing and steering: sizing teams, taking part in recruitment
To check daily and weekly clockings and pass them on to the administrative department
To monitor KPIs, site management tools (reporting) and pre-billing to ensure efficient management and take corrective action where necessary.
Achieve key performance indicators and improve customer service
Lead working groups to roll out the site action plan.
Your assets
- Previous experience in distribution, preferably in a site supervision or team management role,
- Higher education with at least Bac+2/Bac+3 or more in management, logistics, commerce, management or a related field,
- You have a first successful experience in site supervision and team management,
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage and motivate teams,
- Proficiency in the IT tools needed to manage site operations,
- Versatility, sense of responsibility and results orientation,
- Team spirit, active listening and ability to take initiative
