Job Opening: Assistant Site Manager (M/F), Permanent Position, Indre-et-Loire (37)

Reporting to the Site Manager, we are seeking an Assistant Site Manager for one of our clients in the freight distribution and transportation industry.

The missions will be as follows:

Management / Operations :

You manage a team of at least 80 to 100 people, including team leaders, warehouse workers, coordinators, and an assistant.

You are on the ground to ensure that logistics operations are carried out on time and according to the quality and cost requirements set.

You optimize team organization: you adjust schedules to ensure maximum efficiency.

You make sure to maintain a positive work environment.

Customer Relations: You ensure customer satisfaction and manage day-to-day interactions with customers.

Quality, Safety and Environment:

You ensure that the site complies with the strictest safety requirements

Site management and oversight; you may be required to:

Support the site manager in management and oversight: determining team size (recruitment, etc.)

Perform the time checks.

Work with the Site Manager and your agency to manage contracts, amendments, bonuses, and overtime, by providing the necessary information to the administrative departments for payroll and billing.

Monitor site KPIs to ensure effective management and take corrective action where necessary.

Achieve key performance indicators and improve customer service.

Your assets

Your Strengths:

Previous experience in retail, preferably in a store management or team leadership role.

A two- or three-year post-secondary degree in management, business, administration, or a related field.

Ideally, you have some successful experience in site supervision and team leadership.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.

Proficiency in the computer tools required to manage site operations.

Versatility, a sense of responsibility, and a focus on results.

Team spirit, active listening, and the ability to take initiative.
