Job Opening: Event Manager (M/F) – Permanent Position

Fixed-term contract starting ASAP, from June 1. Potential for permanent contract starting August 1.
35 hours/week
Location: La Défense 92400 (75008 starting in 2027)

You will assist the Events & Client Services Manager and ensure a positive customer experience in the planning and execution of event services (catering, business lunches, etc.) in a prestigious setting for a discerning clientele. You will manage a team of three room attendants, plus any temporary staff.

Your main responsibilities include:

- Ensuring a premium customer experience

- Grow the room service business by ensuring that service quality meets customer expectations:

•Prepare quotes for various services

•Manage events comprehensively and ensure they run smoothly

•Manage billing for various suppliers and customers

•Build relationships with customers and foster customer loyalty

- Create seasonal menus for room service and event catering

•Be creative and come up with new ideas to boost sales and customer satisfaction

•Maintain impeccable hygiene standards in all areas and with all food service equipment, and ensure that staff adhere to proper dress codes (HACCP standards)

- Manage the team of 3 Roomers on your floor

•Implementation of work organization under the supervision of the Events & Customer Areas Manager

•Work closely with the Head of Butlers and his team, who also reports to the Head of Events & Guest Services

Your assets

With a background in hospitality and a proven track record of 3 to 5 years in the restaurant industry (ideally in event catering or a similar role), you have significant experience in the hospitality sector and in team management.

You are fluent in English and at ease with IT tools.

With excellent interpersonal and service skills, you are dynamic and autonomous.

You also demonstrate responsiveness, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
