Offer description

Your mission

As part of a work-study program, we are offering a position as a Project Engineer.
You will report directly to the Operations Manager and participate in various projects.

As part of your work-study program, your main responsibilities will include assisting the Project Manager with the following tasks:  
 

  • Understand the project process in order to apply it to your project(s)
  • Participate in and manage all phases of a project’s lifecycle: bidding, design (feasibility studies, preliminary design, detailed design, construction drawings, etc.), implementation (consultations, contract negotiations, construction, assembly), factory testing, and on-site commissioning (assembly and testing)
  • Structure the request for proposals and/or the project and determine resource requirements, in collaboration with project stakeholders
  • Create and manage generic and organizational project documents (PMQP, schedule, project structure, etc.)
  • Lead and coordinate the project team under your supervision to ensure the project runs smoothly
  • Manage supplier and customer orders and related invoicing
  • Ensure cost control and manage billing
  • Ensure that deadlines are met and contractual milestones are adhered to
  • Ensure quality control and the ongoing development of the services entrusted to them
  • Draft or approve technical purchasing specifications
  • Conduct and periodically update project risk assessments
  • Monitor and analyze the key performance indicators for their project(s) and report the results to their supervisors
  • Assist in handling disputes and litigation with customers and suppliers
  • Ensure feedback
Your assets

You are pursuing a master’s degree as part of a general engineering program or an equivalent university program.


You are rigorous, respectful of instructions and curious.
