Our Cadarache (13) branch has two main activities:

Support for the operation, decommissioning, clean-up and management of nuclear waste for our CEA customers.

Assistance to outside contractors.

As part of these two activities, your job is to ensure compliance with radiation protection rules, procedures and their application throughout the facility:

- Radiation protection risk management :

Radiation protection prevention on all worksites.
Communication in meetings to apply measures guaranteeing personnel safety during operations.

Reminder of the site's rules and developments in terms of radiation protection.

Implementation of corrective actions in the event of non-compliance with rules.
Radiological measurements and mapping (contamination/irradiation).

Support for CRPs and direct exchanges with the branch's PR department manager.

Use of specific equipment

Carrying out measurements to identify the risks present in the various intervention areas:

Verification and compliance of equipment dedicated to measurements.
Monitoring the proper operation of equipment already present in work areas.

Installation of site monitoring equipment.

Daily performance of all radiation protection measurements required for the monitoring and progress of services.
Position based in Cadarache, with the possibility of travel.

Your assets

Ideally, you have a Bac +1 to Bac +3 in radiation protection. A first significant experience in a similar position is a plus, but profiles without experience are also accepted.

Autonomy, rigor, initiative and the ability to work as part of a team will be major assets in the success of the missions entrusted to you.

This position may be subject to administrative investigation.
