Offer description

Your mission

As an engineering and services company, Onet Technologies' main mission is to support nuclear industry players in project development, operation, maintenance in safe conditions and decommissioning of nuclear facilities.

Our activities are grouped into 3 main business lines: reactor design, maintenance and modification; dismantling, decontamination and nuclear waste treatment; operator services and training.

Through its site assistance services (radiation protection, regulatory inspections, nuclear logistics, etc.), the Operations and Training Division contributes to the major challenges of EDF's "Grand Carénage" program, which aims to extend the operating life of nuclear power plants.

We are recruiting for the BUGEY site:

Nuclear Waste Management Officer

Here are the challenges we propose to meet together:

Would you like to make the most of your talent within a large-scale company on a human scale?

Reporting to the site manager, you will :

- Manage waste storage by ensuring compliance with storage conditions in terms of controlling calorific potential and the risk of spread in the event of a fire (domino effect), as well as from a chemical or radiological perspective.

- Condition waste according to the treatment method, using the equipment and materials available in the various work areas.

- Be responsible for repackaging rubble (concrete) and shot blasting drums.

- Sorting waste bins.

- Manage the recovery of sodium-containing and contaminated waste.

- Perform checks on finished packages.

Your assets

Do you recognize yourself?

Daytime hours Monday through Friday (occasionally variable hours)

You accept occasional travel to different nuclear sites.

Ideally, you will hold basic nuclear certifications (SCN2, RP2, CSQ, H0B0, EPI, etc.).
Experience in the nuclear industry is a plus.

If not, you will be trained and supported for the position.

Position open to people with no experience of the nuclear industry: support and skills development provided.

Autonomy, rigor and the ability to work as part of a team will be key to success.

This position is subject to administrative investigation.
