Onet and Fabrice Amedeo
hand in hand to clean beaches

On Saturday September 16, to mark World Clean Up Day, Onet, in partnership with famous yachtsman Fabrice Amedeo and his #OceanCalling endowment fund, renewed its commitment to preserving the oceans during a beach clean-up operation in Calais.

A partnership committed to the environment

For over 3 years, the partnership between Onet and Fabrice Amedeo has been based on a shared vision of protecting our planet, and our oceans in particular.

This collaboration reflects Onet's deep commitment as an impact company, determined to play an active role in protecting the environment.

Inspiring mobilization

Onet and Fabrice Amedeo join forces to clean up the beaches

The Calais beach clean-up operation was an opportunity to bring together participants from diverse backgrounds, united by a common goal: preserving our environment.

Organized in conjunction with theMarine Life Channelassociation, the day raised awareness of the impact of land and water-based waste pollution on our marine ecosystems.

The exceptional presence of Fabrice Amedeo, navigator and fervent defender of ocean preservation, was a moment of inspiration for all participants, and in particular for the many Onet employees involved.

An opportunity to exchange and share ideas ahead of our skipper's next great sporting and environmental challenge, the Transat Jacques Vabre, set to start on Sunday October 29, 2023 from the port of Le Havre.

Concrete results for the planet

On this memorable day, over 150 volunteers managed to collect an impressive total of 1,127 kg of garbage and 8,000 cigarette butts, using bags, gloves and tongs supplied by the Onet group.

Among them, 60 Onet employees and their families showed their commitment. These figures testify to the power of the collective in favor of protecting the seas and oceans, as the clean-up operation in the Baie des Catalans in Marseille on Sunday August 27 has already shown.

Bravo and thanks to all our volunteers
